It was confusing. How could these two men be brothers? That they were related by blood was obvious – both tall, lean man with blonde hair and rather attractive to be honest – not that you thought much in that way. Especially not concerning Doflamingo. You didn't like him – you just couldn't. He was kinda... disgusting. But oh well, you soon learned that it would kill you if you showed that. So you played along. Pretending that you liked living in this castle. Pretending
It was your luck that Corazon didn't kill you. You became more or less his personal servant – you could also compare it with being a pet. It wasn't the best situation but at least you were alive. It didn't trouble you that he couldn't speak – you weren't capable of it either. Slowly, you were regaining your voice but if you tried to talk, you succeeded in only one or two cawed words before it hurt again.
Back to your thoughts about the Donquichotte brothers. There might be similar character traits but until now you just had the feeling that they were very different. Corazon's clumsiness not to mention – even if it amused you a bit and made you smirk from time to time. You weren't sure why – but you had the strong feeling that Doflamingo was more dangerous than his brother. Ways more. He was inscrutable, ruthless and cruel if you provoked him. Corazon could be cruel too – especially seeing him with children like Baby 5 or Buffalo. And yet – you didn't fear him as much as you did Mingo. Maybe you were misjudging them but you didn't care. You weren't able to do anything after all. You played along – which mostly resulted in taking care of Corazon's room. And sometimes others. Yes, you were cleaning up the mess that others left. Especially Baby 5 had her fun with that – the rooms you cleaned up were the best to play in. Well, and it's easy to expect how that ends – yes, in a worse mess than before.
And... you kept an eye on Corazon. He was clumsy as hell – and to be honest, you didn't want to see how it would end if he accidentally dropped fire on his bed, on the carpet or elsewhere. It was enough when he set his feather coat on fire.
You sighed, wandering around, passing by some of the lower members of Doflamingos crew who just looked at you dismissively. Most of the family members didn't appreciate you – not that you really cared. Honestly, you were happy about that. You didn't need the others to accept you. You weren't even sure how long you would be willing to live here like that. Well, who wanted to stay as a pet for his whole life? Maybe you could try to work your way up but you saw no reason for that. You had no dying wish but... that was a life you didn't want to lead. Yes, you thought a lot about your life. It was... empty. Full of nothing. You had no memories and now you should be a little house cleaner? That was just... no.
You wanted to lead a different life. One with more freedom, more happiness and less of these troubling surroundings. The question was just: how could you escape this? Yes, you didn't know how you could change that yet. You were rather sure that they wouldn't let you go that easily. They saw you as their property because you had been in the mirror they owned. So – either you tried to escape – what would definitely end in you being killed – or they got tired of you what would also result in you being thrown away like some toy.

You stopped, blinking confused. Well, actually you had a possibility to escape – you had some strange ability coming from a devilfruit. And you were rather sure that it could help you leaving this place if you just would be able to use it in the right way. Or, at least you hoped so.
You crunched with your teeth, putting your hand at the back of your head. It was so annoying that you couldn't remember what happened to you. Maybe, back then, you had been able to use this power completely but even if you had, now you couldn't anymore – you needed these information now!
Doflamingo wouldn't talk to you about it, that's for sure, so how could you regain them? It was frustrating. You were stuck.

Damn. You had no clue what Doflamingo wanted to achieve with you being the servant and pet of his younger brother. Probably, he just wanted to terrorize you more than he already had in the past. He knew you, he remembered you – and you would laugh if it wouldn't have been him to lock you up in the mirror. Maybe he even knew that you would've escaped successfully if you had been able to do so, so he messed things up. That couldn't be a coincidence, right? That's the only thing you knew for sure – everything that had happened since you left the mirror, just couldn't be hazards.
Deep in thoughts you didn't realize where you were going – until you stopped, looking around and groaning in irritation. Fine. Now, you weren't one step further with your thoughts, neither did you know where you were. Still in this castle, yeah – but where exactly?
“Hey, maid! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be cleaning up the rooms I told you?!” An upset voice made you cringe before turning around and facing that odd woman Jora. Very special look, very special personality. You looked down, murmured a low: “I'm very sorry...!”
You couldn't say more as she had slapped you in the face. “I don't want to here your lame excuses! Just do your job or do you want to get killed?”
Again you grimaced, avoiding her gaze. “No... but... I'm kinda lost. I would really appreciate it if you could show me the way back, Jora-san...!”, you replied, sounding a bit desperate – well, you were – but not because you couldn't find your way back but because you had no chance of escaping this terror.
She muttered something you couldn't understand before she turned around and started walking – you followed her quickly. Honestly, you didn't want to anger her more.

After two weeks, you were used to this life. Every Monday you got a list with rooms you had to clean up – and you did it rather efficiently. You were surprised how fast you could be if you just tried – at least, you wanted all rooms to be finished soon, so you could take some breaks. You were dissatisfied because you couldn't leave this place but you accepted it. You had to be patient, otherwise you would be killed.
Well, of course you didn't want to die. Not now – although you wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. You were treated like a rat – something that wasn't needed. It was obvious that you weren't welcome – but they had to accept you being here. Doflamingo enjoyed it while mostly the lower ones were angered but not allowed to do something against you – you were the property of Rocinante after all. The other officers? Well, it seemed like they didn't care. They wouldn't hurt you as long as you acted the way you should.
A low sigh left your mouth while leaning back, staring at the mirror you had been caught in for months or years. If you could just get a feeling for that ability... maybe it would help you escape. Slowly you stood up, went to the mirror and placed your hand on it. As soon as you touched it, it felt liquid, causing small ripples. You could see a big white room behind it – but before you could get to look at it better, the door Corazon's room was opened and you hastily made some steps back, smiling unsure to Corazon. You didn't say much – but it was okay because you obeyed to the things he wrote down.
He eyed you suspiciously before shaking his head. It was obvious that he thought something like: 'Odd woman.' Something you couldn't even deny... but what did they expect? You had been caged in a mirror for ages! You couldn't just be normal from one day to the other...
You sighed, sitting down on the floor and closing your eyes. It was disastrous... how could you possibly escape...?
After weeks or months - I'm not sure... - I finally managed to finish part two of this series! I am terribly sorry that I'm updating seldomly but I can't help it for the time being... and yes, mistakes might appear but please don't blame me! Writing english is... difficult if you had a long break xD

So... what do you think? Did you like it? If you have some ideas for me, just tell me!~ I'd be glad <3

While I'll be working in an hour or so... I hope at least you have a great day!~

I really enjoy this story but Doflamingo and Rosinante's last name is spelled Donquixote.
